Reiki is a Japanese word meaning “Universal life force energy”
REI – means universal, omnipresent, present everywhere at the same time. Esoterically Rei means spiritual consciousness, the omniscient wisdom from God/Universe or the higher self.
KI (the same word as Chi or Qi) – is the non physical vitality that gives life to all living things. Many cultures understand and recognize the importance of Ki energy and how it impacts our lives and well-being.
Reiki is an ancient healing practice that balances your subtle energetic and cellular bodies — stimulating relaxation, mental clarity, and your body’s natural ability to heal itself.
It’s roots are of Japanese origin. It is a gentle technique that often includes the practitioner laying their hands on the body and energy field to facilitate healing. It can help reduce chronic stress, calm the nervous system and aide in personal transformation and well-being. It’s also ideal for serious illnesses like chronic fatigue, depression, insomnia and neurological disorders.

Level 1 Reiki (Shoden) is open to anyone interested in deepening their self care practice, developing a deeper relationship with their intuition and for those interested in the healing arts as a profession.
Receiving a Reiki attunement opens and expands the main energy channels of the body. This opening deepens the body’s connection to universal energy and raises the vibrational level of the body so that life force energy can flow more freely.
The attunement process clears blockages in the body and energy field at the cellular level, creating significant changes for the individual leading to a significant period of self-growth and expansion.

You will learn…
+ The history of Reiki in Japan and how it came to the West+ How to work with the hands on practice of Usui Reiki to heal yourself and others
+ The five principles (the Gokai) for developing a spiritual and mental connection
+ An introduction to energy centers
+ Learn to revitalize and work with the body and the body’s energy field
+ Learn to find energy blocks in the field and body and how to release old and stagnant energy patterns for more optimal functioning
+ Participants will learn the first Reiki symbol (shirushi), allowing the practitioner to draw on the qualities that the symbol represents
+ Assigned self-study homework and practice hours with email follow-up
Upon completion students will receive certification and are able to perform Reiki on themselves as well as practice giving Reiki to friends, family, and even pets.

Level II (Okuden) creates an expanded opening of the energy channels, raises the body’s vibration and takes each participant deeper into the process of giving and receiving Reiki.
In addition to bringing more physical awareness like Level I, this attunement works on the emotional/mental layer of the body and field.
Topics covered:+Participants will learn two additional Reiki symbols (shirushi), allowing the practitioner to draw on the qualities that the symbols represent
+ Distance Reiki which may be used to clear energy blockages across time, as well as distant physical locations
+ Reiki as a tool for: energy center balancing, setting intention, healing and protecting spaces
+ Healing on a cellular level
+ Ethics for developing a professional practice as well as trauma informed perspectives to step into your power as a healer
+ Understanding group Reiki and remote healing sessions

Upon completion student’s receive practitioner status and will be certified to do Reiki professionally on others.

Level III (Shinpiden) and its attunement is a powerful part of the Reiki journey supports you in advancing your healing capacity. It strengthens your commitment to Reiki as a spiritual practice and assists you in furthering your growth and development. Working with the shadow self, ancestral codes and uprooting inherited information, it deepens the connection to spirit on a soul level.

+ Reiki Master Symbols and uses+ Bringing awareness to the deeper levels and layers of self that may emerge after a Reiki Master attunement: shadow parts, ancestral healing, more access to intuitive capabilities

When is the next training?
Trainings are held 1:1 with individualized training or within a group. Group trainings are organized organically throughout the year based on interest amongst my clients. 1:1 Reiki trainings are uniquely crafted to meet you where you're at.
Individual training provides personalized guidance for learning Reiki with mentorship and support through your personal healing journey. We can only take others as far as we’ve been able to heal ourselves, so this individualized container is created to support you through the healing that inevitably happens when we learn Reiki. This training will take your self care practices deeper.
While the lessons are individual you’ll still be connected to a community of other Reiki healers through my online training portal. Training sessions are available remotely via zoom.

Reiki is a great compliment for Yoga Teachers, Personal Fitness Trainers, Breathwork Facilitators and Bodywork Practitioners!
Reiki and Yoga used together can lead to a deepening of the practices of both. Yoga can help a person understand Reiki in a much deeper way. While Reiki helps a person understand the deeper energies of Yoga. In Sanscrit yoga means “union”, a union between mind, body and spirit. This union is enhanced by the powers of Reiki energy. Yogis can use it before, during, and after their practice to help them ground their intention and find more advanced healing in their practice. Yoga teachers can use it to enhance adjustments and the student’s class experience.
Bodywork helps release physical tension by working with the muscles, fascia, joints, and circulatory system. Reiki can take that work a step further by opening the channels of the energy body which boosts the effects of the bodywork on the physical body. By working in tandem with the body’s energy system this can set up deeper and lasting change in healing patterns held in the body.
